Have you ever had this feeling of joy that made you so happy that you wanted to cry, and then at the same time you wanted to cry so badly? Well, that feeling can be weird.
When I first found out that my husband was promoted but had to move to Texas, man I was happily shocked! Are you shocked now? Well here’s why I felt that way. I was really happy that he got the promotion and all, but the thought of having to move to another state was what terrified me.
I was born and brought up in Maryland. My husband and I were High school sweethearts and we spent the most of our life in Maryland, Washington. We never thought of relocation or about moving to any other place. Texas was out of the question! I never even thought about that place, until tell news hit me in the year 2004.
Well, how did I react? As you can guess, I over reacted. And I bet many of you will too, if you were in the same position as I. Well, everything seemed to be fine. With my husband at a good work place and our kids in school, everything seemed to be just fine.
As you can guess, we really didn’t have much of a choice and had to move to Orlando, Texas. But you know what? Today, 5 years later I can tell you that I am happy! I am happy to be in Orlando. It is a beautiful place and what makes it even better is the fact that we have an amazing home to live in.
